Their courses directly focus on energy engineering with courses including BEng Energy Engineering and BEng Energy Engineering with Environmental Management. The UEA’s chosen direction comes as a response to the growing demand for alternative energy, and in turn, growing demand for energy engineering graduates, especially those with specialist knowledge in environmental management.
This full time course gives you the opportunity to initially take on small design projects, gaining grounding in engineering mathematics and principles. Although the courses’ emphasis lies in energy engineering, fieldwork allows students to also be introduced to mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering.
You will further learn about micro-hydro schemes, grid storage and more, to then complete a major final project where you can become an expert in the area of energy engineering that interests you the most.

Unlike the University of East Anglia, CCN offers a wider range of subjects within engineering including: Aviation Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, and CNC for Engineers.
Fees for these courses vary between £0 and £9000 (for BSc Hons programmes), and duration spans from 8 weeks to 3 years.

4. KLM UK Engineering

KLM UK Engineering offer programmes that give you the opportunity to mix academic theory with practical hands on experience, thus proposing the most effective route for development. They will support apprentices in gaining qualifications relevant for their pathway and provide on the job aircraft maintenance experience at the Norwich facility.
