1. Engineering staff training: Ourcambridge – Linda Spinks

Ourcambridge is a programmed designed to highlight potential of services staff by simplifying work processes and improving morale.

The event is open for anybody to attend and play a part in the programme. With a goal to make you feel valued, the ourcambridge programmed is guided by your feedback and also their professional staff from the university.

2. Inspirational Engineers Seminar Series: Simulation-Led Design

3. Girls Only Engineering Event

Aimed at females with a passion for Engineering. If you are a great problem solver as well as a creative individual, this is the engineering event in 2019 you can’t miss!

The Girls Into Engineering event is being hosted by Stanstead Airport College. It’s the perfect opportunity for aspiring engineers of the female variety to get a taste of industry life, meet professionals in the sector and get involved with a range of workshops and activities.

4. Engineering/JBS Staff training: How to become a school governor

The Governors for Schools workshop invites all Engineering Department Staff in cooperation of the Judge Business School. An introduction to the role, the benefits and how you can apply for many East of England roles will be covered at this lunchtime event.

5. Undergraduate Exhibition for Computing and Engineering at UCP

  • Date and time: Friday 17th May 2019, 11:00 to 15:30
  • Location: University Centre Peterborough, Park Crescent, Peterborough, PE1 4DZ

Computing and Engineering students complete a major piece of development work or research of their choosing during their final year.

These projects come in the form of Virtual Reality to Robotics, applications of AI and manufacturing processes. Their work is presented as an exhibition for visitors to see. Attendees can witness a variety of demonstrations, meet the graduates and discuss their work and ask questions about the projects.

7. IfM Digital Manufacturing on a Shoestring – Lunchtime Seminar

The Find Your Future Open Morning is designed to help you find out how UTCN can shape your career in engineering, technology, science and computing. At one of the best Norfolk engineering events in 2019 you can hear first hand from students about their experience at UTCN.

The Open Morning is free to attend and aimed at current Year 9 students, Year 11 students and their parents looking to join us in September 2019.

9. Machine Learning and AI in (Bio)chemical engineering

Machine Learning and AI in (Bio)chemical engineering is hosted by two EPSRC projects: “Combining Chemical Robotics and Statistical Methods to Discover Complex Functional Products”, a collaboration between Universities of Cambridge, Glasgow and Southampton, and “Cognitive Chemical Manufacturing”, a collaboration between Universities of Leeds, Nottingham and UCL. As well as presentations from the two projects, we are inviting abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations at the conference.

10. Wind Energy Museum Photo Walk
